Timothy John Bright

Timothy “Tim” J. Bright, 54, Beatrice died May 15, 2017 at Bryan Medical Center-West in Lincoln. He was born January 7, 1963 in Columbus, NE.  Tim was raised in Duncan, NE, before moving to the Beatrice State Developmental Center in 1979. He continued going home every other weekend for 36 years, going fishing, camping and roasting hotdogs, and riding on the scooter with his dad. Tim enjoyed going to Husker Football Games, especially watching the Cheerleaders, going to Southeast Community College sporting events, shopping, movies and bowling.

Survivors include his parents, Teddy and Rachel (Blaser) Bright of Odell, NE; brother, Todd of Beatrice; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by grandparents.

Memorial Services will be held 2:30 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017, at All Faith’s Chapel BSDC in Beatrice with Chaplain Verla Dorn officiating. Burial will be 1:00 p.m., Monday at the Odell Cemetery. Memorial is established to the All Faith’s Chapel BSDC with the mortuary in charge.  No visitation but a guestbook is available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
