Timothy Cal Beethe

Timothy Cal Beethe, 58 years of age, of DeWitt passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney. He was born on July 6, 1961 in Beatrice to Wilmer and Donna (Mahloch) Beethe. Tim was baptized on July 30, 1961 and confirmed on May 16, 1976 at First Trinity Lutheran Church west of Beatrice. He graduated from Tri County High School in 1980. Tim married Deanna Wagner on August 27, 1983. They were blessed with two sons, Matthew and Lee and were later divorced. Tim loved his family, farming, playing cards, watching NASCAR races and visiting with anybody he saw – he never met a stranger. His strong faith was apparent throughout his life and he enjoyed serving in various church roles as a younger man.

Tim is survived by his sons, Matt and special friend Emily Carrigan of San Francisco, California, Lee and wife Anissa of Beatrice; granddaughter, DeVaynee Cordry; grandson, JW Beethe; sister, Karen Schroeder and husband Joel of DeWitt; two nephews; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, October 17, 2019 at First Trinity Lutheran Church west of Beatrice with Pastor Timothy Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in the First Trinity Lutheran Cemetery near the church. A family prayer service will be held at 2:45 PM Thursday at the church school. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the church in care of the church elders. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
