Robert Winslow Obituary

Robert Lewis Winslow, 97 years of age, of Beatrice died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on November 10, 1921 in Blue Springs to Bruce and Edna (Morris) Winslow. He attended Union School through the 8th Grade. Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy from 11/29/1939 to 1/5/1946, was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and served on the destroyer USS Helm. He enjoyed eating out and being on the go.

Robert is survived by his son, Dan of California; granddaughter, Jennifer McCord of San Jose, California; great-granddaughters; brother, Donald Winslow of Beatrice; sisters, Margaret Crawford of Wymore and Betty Slagel of Beatrice; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Bruce and Edna Winslow; wife, Angelina; daughter, Pam; four brothers; and two sisters.

No local services will be held. Inurnment will be in Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, California. Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
