Pauline Sue Lawson, 72, Beatrice, NE passed away, Friday, March 22, 2019 at Beatrice Health and Rehab. She was born September 9, 1946, at the Beatrice Mennonite Hospital, the 3rd of 4 children of Darwin and Alma Hutchison. She had three brothers; Gerald, Darwin and Lonnie. Pauline graduated from Lewiston High School in 1964. It was her life’s dream to marry and raise a family. In pursuit of her dream she married Clark Lawson on September 26, 1965 and together they had four children, two boys and two girls. She loved spending time with her family, celebrating holidays, baking cookies, cakes and making sure everyone was having a good time. Her love of children didn’t end with her own, which was evident in providing an in home day care for over 33 years for countless children.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Clark of Beatrice; sons, Todd Lawson and wife DeDe of Wymore, NE, and Troy Lawson and wife Kristi of Wichita, KS; daughters, Dana Workman and friend Dana Buhr of Beatrice, and Ronda Oswald and husband Bryan of Lincoln; grandchildren include, Gabe & Landon Lawson, Cole, Laney and Carson Workman, Mason and Regan Oswald, Danielle and Cooper Warford, Nicole (Rick), Ricky and Axel Rowden, Megan (Levi) Fralin Donovan
Preceded in death by her parents, Alma (7/03) and Darwin(10/75), and brothers Gerald (2/05), Darwin(7/06) and Lonnie(7/15).
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice with Pastor Mark Schutt officiating. Interment will be following the services in the Lewiston Cemetery. A family prayer service will be in held 9:45 a.m. in the church. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019 with the family greeting friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice.
