Ninajean (Rhamy) Shaw, 93 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. She was born on June 15, 1925 in Atwood, Kansas to John and Maude (Smith) Rhamy. Ninajean attended Belvidere/South Elementary Schools. She married Raymond Shaw on August 18, 1950. Ninajean was a member of the First Christian Church in Beatrice and was honored to be a 82 year member. She enjoyed reading, childcare, gardening and watching NCIS.
Ninajean is survived by her sons, John and wife Mary of Beatrice, Michael of Nebraska City, Richard of Beatrice; daughters, Cora Shaw of Beatrice, Elizabeth Lochner and husband John of Lincoln, Connie Shaw of Ottowa, Illinois; grandchildren, John Shaw, Jr. and wife Michelle of Beatrice, Melissa Tyson of Beatrice, Jamie Friesen and husband Mike of DeWitt, Clinton Lochner of Lincoln, Kelsey Shaw of Traverse City, Michigan, Brian Bowman of Omaha; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and niece, Marilyn Stewart and husband Aden of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; grandson, John Joseph Lochner, Jr.; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Pastor David Bigley officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
