Lillian (Reedy) Rodewald

Lillian Rodewald, 87 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 3, 1931 in Blue Springs to Lewis and Rose (Novotny) Reedy. Lillian worked in housekeeping at the Beatrice Manor for over 20 years. She enjoyed flowers, being outside, cats and was always willing to help.

Lillian is survived by a daughter, Theda Higgins and husband Terry; son, Fred Rodewald, both of Beatrice; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ted; and 3 brothers.

Cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled at this time. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
