Harold Douglas Jamieson

Harold Douglas Jamieson, 90 Beatrice, NE, died Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society.  He was born to Robert and Inez Jamieson in Beatrice, on April 16, 1928. He graduated from Beatrice High School, served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was in partnership with the Ham Hocks Organization, raise Charolais cattle and farmed NW of Beatrice.  Harold married Eleonore Snavely on June 19, 1982. He was blessed with two step children Rick Snavely and Perri Snavely Kester, four grandchildren, Travis, Sean, Devon and D’Anna Kester.  He was baptized and was a lifelong member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice. Harold was an avid reader.

Harold was preceded in death by his father, Robert; mother Inez Jamieson; sisters, Dorothy Russell and Helen Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Eleonore; step-children, Rick Snavely of Atlanta, GA, Perri Snavely Kester of Lawrenceville, GA, and her children, Travis of Lebanon, MO, Sean of San Francisco, CA, Devon of Lawrence, GA and D’Anna of Athens, Ga; two sisters-in-law, Patty Liewer of Olathe, KS and Ina Gay of Columbus, NE; nieces, Kathryn and Woody Martin of Bogalusa, LA and Susan Bacon, Washington.
