Frances H. ((Wallace)) Mulvaney

Frances Helen (Wallace) Mulvaney, 89 years of age, of Beatrice passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the PEO Home in Beatrice. She was born in Kearney on February 28, 1929 to Frank and Helen Wallace. Fran graduated from Lincoln High School and later, from the University of Nebraska where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She was an accomplished artist and worked as a substitute high school art teacher and design artist for the Lincoln Community Playhouse. Fran loved oil painting and drawing sketches, particularly while in Colorado during summer family vacations. Later, she served as a Volunteer Docent at the Sheldon Museum of Art for many years.

Fran is survived by 2 sons, John and Bob; daughter-in-law Luisa; 2 sisters-in-law, Peggy Lebsack and Mary Jean Mulvaney; 3 grandchildren, Cathy, Betsy and Don; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Charles; son, Jim; and sister, Mary Lou Crittenden.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service for friends and family on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM at the PEO Home, 413 N. 5th St; Beatrice, NE. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
