Donald Messing Obituary

Donald R. Messing, 66 years of age, of Beatrice, formerly of Phoenix passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center in Beatrice. He was born on June 11, 1952 in Denver, Colorado to Robert and Betty (O’Neal) Messing. Donald was a great brother with a big heart and spent the majority of his life in Phoenix where he worked as a Master Tile Setter. He enjoyed his dogs, cooking, socializing, recreational activities and having a few beers.

Donald is survived by his siblings, DeEtta Hayes of Seattle, Washington, Rob Messing and wife Beth of Beatrice, Duane Messing and wife Carla, Robin Putzke and husband Mark, Larry Messing, all of Phoenix, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
