Dennis E. Parde

Dennis E. Parde, 67, Wymore, NE died June 28, 2018 at his home.  He was born Jan. 9, 1951 in Beatrice, NE. He graduated from Lewiston High School, worked as a farmhand by Virginia, NE, worked for the Gage County Road Dept. and then for Norris Public Power for 23 years.  May 16, 1970, he married Elizabeth Stevens. They lived on a farm until moving to Wymore. Dennis enjoyed the Huskers, the Patriots and spending time with his family. He helped with 4-H and was a foster parent for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of Wymore; children, Shelly Taylor and husband Tim of Wymore, Heather Mullen and husband Tracy of Holmesville, NE, Todd Parde of Wymore, Janelle Theye and husband Greg of Beatrice, Tabitha Parde of Wymore, Anthony Parde of Wymore, Samantha Parde of Wymore and Jerry Bray and wife Ashley of Blue Springs, NE; grandchildren, Hayley, Zackary, Zayda, Jacoby, Gabrielle, Ethan, Mariah, Jadyn, Ashton, Macy, Jamison, Booker, Leetin; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Kellen; sisters, Arlene Lovitt of Tennessee, and LeAnna Miller of Kansas City; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Parde of Lincoln, Cathy Rakes of Blue Springs, Sandy Stevens of Blue Springs, Jeanette Stevens of Virginia, NE, Mary Jurgens and husband Lyle of Beatrice; brother-in-law, Jack Hurley; many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Heye and Ida (Steinblock) Parde; brothers, Harlan and LeRoy Parde; parents-in-law, Roy and Mildred Stevens; brothers-in-law, Ray, Pat and Steve Stevens; sisters-in-law, Julie Hurley, Jeanie Stevens, Mildred Kagy, and Pat Parde.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Wymore Church of Christ with Pastor Clayton Lundstedt officiating. No visitation but a guestbook will be available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com. Memorials are suggested to the family in lieu of flowers. Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
