Christopher Darrian Wolf

Christopher Darrian Wolf, 48 years of age, of Beatrice passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center in Beatrice. He was born on April 12, 1971 in Beatrice to Tom and Trish (Wallace) Wolf. As a child, Chris enjoyed Vacation Bible School, church camp, softball and bowling. As an adult, he enjoyed motorcyles until he got hurt and couldn’t ride anymore, deer hunting, fishing with his son Robert, and Notre Dame Football, “Go Fighting Irish”. Chris served 18 years in the military with a tour in Kuwait. He was hurt while serving and retired from the military. Chris had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could anytime day or night.

Chris is survived by his girlfriend, Amy Mills; sons, Dustin Layman and wife Brooke, Robert Wolf; grandchildren, Parker, Sawyer, and Anniston Layman; mother, Trish McNamara and husband Lynn; brother, Michael Wolf and wife Natasha; step-sisters, Tina Smith Morris, Dondi Reinke and husband Tim; step-brothers, Shane Smith, Ted Smith, Eric Rodewald; step-mother, Lori Wolf; nephews, Brandon Reinke and wife Katie, Gavin Wolf; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom; brother, Thomas; sister, Angie; and grandparents, Deloris and Cliff Wolf.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Beatrice with Pastor Nolan Hayes officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
