Candace "Candy" K. (Wilcox) Blakemore

Candace “Candy” K. (Wilcox) Blakemore, 52 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born on December 10, 1965 in Beatrice to Garry and Marla (Beard) Wilcox. Candy attended Beatrice High School. She married Henry Blakemore on March 24, 1995 in Beatrice. Candy enjoyed boating, camping, motorcycle trips, making people laugh, her dog Hanna, time with family and especially spending time with her granddaughter.

Candy is survived by her husband, Henry; sons, Joshua and Jacoby Wilcox; granddaughter, Zahra Wilcox; parents, Garry and Marla Wilcox; brother, Don Wilcox and wife Donna, all of Beatrice; mother-in-law, Judy Pope of Wymore; sister-in-law, Dawn Watts and husband John of Blue Springs; special cousin, Becky Grant of Pickrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and supporters.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Pastor Howard Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
