Ann L. (Lineweber) Schoneweis

Ann L. Schoneweis, 87, Beatrice, departed this life surrounded by her family, Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice.  She was born April 10, 1931 rural Holmesville, NE to Charles C. and Bertha M. (Ruter) Lineweber.  She lettered in volleyball and graduated from Holmesville High School in 1949. Ann enjoyed sewing, crocheting, canning tomatoes, was a great cook and loved to laugh.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy and Stan Meyer, Jeanette and Don Epp, and Jolien and Brad Thompson all of Beatrice; son, Dennis and Judy Schoneweis of Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Jeremy Meyer and Tammi, Jenny and Steve Swarthout, Leon and Sue Bryson, Jason and Emily Schoneweis, Kevin Schoneweis and Kati, Melissa Wach,  E.J. Boston, Kristina and Robert Lowery, Michael Thompson and Jaylen, T.J. and Courtney Thompson; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Lineweber and wife Margreta of Lincoln, Wayne Lineweber and Kenneth Lineweber both of Beatrice; five sisters, Ruth Hagemeier of Clay Center, NE, Leona Clark of Grand Island, NE, Genevieve Eckhoff, Rosemary Wohlers, and Joyce Van Winkle all of Beatrice; sister-in-law, Imojean Lineweber; many nieces and nephews.

She was welcomed into Heaven by, her parents; brothers, Chuck, Bob, and Rich; sisters, Dorothy and Alice; son, Harold; grandson, Jeremy Wach; and great-grandson, Drae Swarthout.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel, Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. A family prayer service will be held 10:45 a.m., Tuesday October 2, 2018 at the Mortuary. The family will greet friends 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Mortuary. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial has been suggested to the family’s choice with the mortuary in charge.  A guestbook for signatures is available at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com.
