It is with great sadness that the family of Alberta Ann Scott announces her passing on April 28, 2019 at the age of 67. Alberta was born on August 28, 1951 and attended school in Washington, Kansas. She spent many years in the Steele City area before later moving to Beatrice.
Alberta is remembered by her children, Billie Mead and fiancé Dennis Ball of Kismet, Kansas, Shantel Buck and husband Steve of Beatrice, Robert Scott and wife Michelle of Krum, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; father, Dwight Graham of Beatrice; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Marie Carmichael; mother, Marjorie (Carmichael) Brown; sister, René Pugh; brother, Ryan Brown; daughters, Brenda Elliot, Tonya Scott; and longtime partner, Gary Boatman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Filley Community Center in Filley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to 4892 Mash Branch Road #3, Krum, TX 76249. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
