Warren M. Jones

Warren M. Jones, 71 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Lakeview Assisted Living in Firth. He was born on January 11, 1945 in Minot, North Dakota to Howard and Elnora (Clyde) Jones. Warren graduated in 1963 from Parshall High School in Parshall, North Dakota. He married Brenda Moler on December 27, 1970 in Hastings. Warren worked 35 years for the Holdrege Coop and the last 8 years for Tractor Supply in Beatrice. He attended Christ Community Church in Beatrice. Warren had a special way with people and was known to be very personable. He would often visit with somebody and by the time they were done, they were both talking about a mutual friend. Warren had a love for all kids and enjoyed stock car racing, fishing, gambling at casinos and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Warren is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Renee Griffeth and Mike Splitter of Beatrice; son, Dan of Orlando, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Griffeth, Brett Griffeth and wife Jennie, Kristal Shestak and husband Kip, Tiffany Enoch and husband Josh; 5 great grandchildren, Ayden & Kasen Griffeth, Tristan Hackler-Griffeth, Aubrey & Braxton Enoch; 3 sisters, Pat Julson of Minot, North Dakota, Connie Harr and husband Kermit of Mandam, North Dakota, Barb Werlinger and husband Willie of Fargo, North Dakota; 4 brothers, Larry and Trudy of Minot, North Dakota, Ronnie and wife Judy of Parshall, North Dakota, Miles and wife Vickie, Mike and wife Kim, both of Dickinson, North Dakota; 2 sisters-in-law, Beverly Wagner and husband Lyn of Lexington, Barb Moler of Cozad; 2 brothers-in-law, Denny Moler and wife JoLane of Lincoln, Jerry Moler and wife Deb of Texarkana, Arkansas; and several special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Rick Griffeth; great granddaughter, Carlie Enoch; and 2 brothers-in-law, Willis Julson and David Moler.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Christ Community Church in Beatrice with Pastor Jack Magness officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM with family greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
