I am so sorry to hear of Walt's passing and my prayers and thoughts are with all of you in his family. My parents, John and Mildred Schledewitz, were "like family" to Bill and Pauline Wells. I knew and played with Walt when we were very young children. He gave me my first gift of a silver locket, which I still have. I had no idea he lived so close by as I live in Lincoln. He sounds like he was a very good man. I hope you find peace knowing he is now in his eternal resting place.
