Sadie Bell (Dement) Hyatt

Sadie B. Hyatt, 80 of Lincoln formerly of Beatrice, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Tabitha Nursing Home in Lincoln.  She was born May 22, 1934 in Lake City, Arkansas.  Sadie enjoyed Bingo, fishing in her younger years and spending time at home with her family.  She worked at the Beatrice State Developmental Center as a housekeeper.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Coudeyras and husband Gary of Lincoln; sons, Richard Whittemire and special friend Marla of Diller, NE, Eddie “Ed” Hyatt of Douglas, NE, Mike Hyatt and special friend Vonnie of Beatrice; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Dement of Texas; sister Mary Taylor and husband Jim of Virginia; sister-in-law, Roberta Dement of Bono, AR; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, James and Ruth Dement; two sons; five brothers; and two sisters.

The family is having a meeting at her home 630 West Mary St., Beatrice, at   9:30 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015.  No visitation but a book will be available for signatures at Harman-Wright Mortuary on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com Harman-Wright Mortuary and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
