Robert "Bob" E. McAtee

Robert E. McAtee, 61,  of Beatrice, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home.  He was born January 28, 1956 at Steele City, NE to Lester and Reva.  He lived in Steele City, Fairbury, McCook and Beatrice.  He liked to talk and give people a hard time.  He enjoyed watching Western movies, WWE and Smackdown with a cup of tea and a cigarette along with fishing, sitting outside and playing cards.

Robert is survived by his children, Penny (Bill) Loomis of Cortland, NE, Sam (fiancée Andy) Boesiger of Spencer, NE, Robert Boesiger of Cortland, NE, Shawna Bartels and Grace McAtee of Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Beverly McAtee of Beatrice, Donald (Marlene) Jessen of Alliance, NE, Dallas McAtee of Kearney, NE, Janet McAtee of Beatrice, Lori McAtee of Beatrice, Leon Petersen of Beatrice and Carol (Herb) Morphis of Centerville, AR; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Lester McAtee and mother, Reva (Harper) Hutchison; sister, Lorna Thompson; brothers, Jerry McAtee and Terry McAtee and a niece Sara Peterson

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, Beatrice with Pastor Greg Gabriel, officiating.  Burial will be at the Steele City Cemetery at a later date.
