This message is from Ernie Claassen who was saddened to hear of Richard's passing. "He was a good neighbor and a good friend". Ernie lives in Newton, Kansas, near me, his oldest daughter. He thinks of Holmesville every day.

I truly enjoyed knowing Richard. When he had purchased hay from me in the past for his horses, we had many long talks about different issues. He was truly a fine man who I will miss. Prayers to the family.
