LaVerne "Cat" Allen Meyer

LaVerne “Cat” Meyer, 75, of Beatrice died Sunday, September 13, 2015.  He grew up in Plymouth, NE and worked as a welder and millwright for several construction companies.  He enjoyed caring for wild birds.

LaVerne is survived by his wife, Carla; daughter, Becky; sister, Marlene (Gayle) Ebke; and brother, Ken Meyer.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice with Pastor Douglas Irmer, officiating.  Family prayer service 10:15 in the church basement.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday 4 p.m.-9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and one hour preceding services at the church on Saturday.  A register book is also available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com for messages of condolence.  A memorial is established to the St. Paul Lutheran Church radio broadcast fund.  Harman-Wright Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
