John A. Fauber

John A. Fauber, 92, Beatrice died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice.  He was born November 13, 1925 in Mansfield, OH to John B. and Hazel (Eagle) Fauber. He married Carol Craner on April 21, 1951 at Columbus, Ohio.

John worked at the First National Bank in Beatrice and enjoyed his co-workers and customers. He served his country in the US Air Force. John enjoyed motor homing, traveling, water skiing, the family cabin on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and spending time outdoors with his late wife Carol. John took great joy in being an accomplished small plane pilot.

Survivors include his children:  Mark (Teresa) Fauber of Beatrice and Lauren (Ted) Timmermans of Lincoln; grandchildren, Dustin (Kara) Fauber, Kris Mangrum and Tobi Hinkle; one great-granddaughter, Violet Fauber; sister, Dorothy Kette of Ohio; and sister-in-law, Arlene Meikle of Texas.
