Joe Blanco Jr.

Joe Blanco, Jr., 65 of Beatrice, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born January 13, 1950 at Scottsbluff, NE.  After graduating from high school he went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree at Florida International University.  Family was very important to him, especially his nieces and nephews.

Joe is survived by his father, Joe Blanco, Sr. and spouse Rose of Chadron, NE; mother, Josephine Hamernik of Beatrice, NE; sisters, Lupe Saathoff and spouse Keith of Lincoln, NE, Rita Blanco of Denver, CO, Sandy Anderson and spouse Greg of Lincoln, NE, Tonia Buss and spouse Mark of Beatrice, NE, Debbie Blanco of Lincoln, NE and Kimberly Dawson and spouse Bill of Arapahoe, NE, Jessica Turner and spouse Travis of Bridgeport, NE; brother, Michael Blanco “Joe Vaughn” and spouse Marsha of Minot, North Dakota; 18 nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews; 1 great-great nephew.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Jolene Blanco and brother, Richard Dean Blanco.
