While I did not know Jess personally, I know her as the daughter of cousin Joe and wife Linda and know she came from a great, caring family.  Family is important to all the Holtmeier's and I am so sorry for her much too early departure.  May you know our sincere loving thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Dear Holtmeier and Nabity families,
Jess has to be one of the most pleasant, happy and intelligent gals I've had the pleasure to know and work with. I am sorry to have missed her services & to say goodbye. I find great comfort and peace in the following poem:
A New Beginning
'If you were to tell me that death is where we end, I would have to tell you that to me it is but a beginning. If you were to tell me that death would bring great sadness to those that hold me dear, I would have to tell you to wipe all tears away. For if you listen carefully, you'll hear my voice, ever so softly, telling of the joy I've found. You'll feel my touch, gentle as the softest breeze, when you need reassurance. And, when these whose lives I've touched say a phrase or make a gesture that reminds you of me, you'll know that parts of me still live on. As you live your life, please do so in love and happiness, knowing that I will be there to share it with you. For in passing, I have shed my earthly cloak adn my soul has taken flight.' ~Lynn Galovich
Memories will keep her in your heart forever. Many blessings~ *Brenda

I'm so glad I got to meet Jessica. It truly was an honor being a part of her and Paul's wedding. Meeting her family and friends lets me know she had a full and happy life even though it was shorter than any of us expected. My condolences to Paul, Jessica's family and friends, and the number of people who I'm sure had their lives touched by her.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I loved taking care of Jessica when she came into the office.  I sat and stared at the lovely photo her of her on this website, her beautiful blue eyes and sassy auburn hair, she'll make a beautiful angel.  I want her husband to know how amazing he was to honor Jessica by marrying her.  She was loved and will be loved by family and friends forever.  God Bless. Paul - I am so sorry.  Even though we only knew Jessica from our brief get-togethers, I was glad to call her my sister-in-law.  I remember how much fun we all had last June at that College World Series game.  Jessica especially liked the air conditioned suite.  It doesn't lessen the grief now but those experiences and memories are special and live on.

My sympathies with you and the Holtmeier family.
Love, Lori

Joel and Linda,
I was so heart broken when I heard about your Jessica.  I'm so very sorry for your tremendous loss.  When you lose someone so precious it's like a piece of your heart has been torn out, leaving a large void.  Time slowly builds a bridge across this void, making it easier to cross, but the void will always be there.  Jessica will never be forgotten.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, your families and many friends.
Love, Shari

My favorite memories of Jessica was playing softball in the summer.  That was probably my favorite season that year.  We had so much fun and created a friendship even though we were from different towns.  She had the best, up-beat personality.  She remained true to that throughout her life.  I'm so very sorry for your loss and am praying for you.

Linda and Joel,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was unaware of what was happening in your family until I saw the article in the newspaper about the wedding. I'm so happy that you and your family were able to see this special moment for Jessica. I cannot begin to imagine how hard this must be for you and your entire family. May God Bless you all!

Jess had such a wonderful "bubbly" personality that you instantly liked her.  I didn't get to know her as closely as others at Celerion did, but we would have our nice little chats waiting for our lunch to warm up or refilling our water in the lunch room.  I will really miss those, and miss her warm sweet smile.

Jess, her new husband and her whole family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Eternal rest, grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Amen

I remember when Jessica interviewed me back in 2003 for my very first professional job at MDS (now Celerion). She was all smiles and so friendly that I just assumed I had the job at the end of the interview. When I asked "When do I start?" she had to gently remind me that it was a competitive process and they'd get back to me in a couple of weeks. Even though I put my foot in my mouth, she made me feel so comfortable that I knew it'd be ok. Luckily, she hired me anyway! This is how I'll always remember Jessica. She is one of the most gentle, kind, non-judgmental, and genuine people I've ever met. She is gone too soon, but she will never be forgotten. My condolences to the family and friends who've lost such a wonderful person to this terrible disease. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
