Dorothy Joan (Burianek) Hagemeier

Dorothy Joan Hagemeier 73, rural DeWitt, NE died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her home.  She was born August 9, 1944, on the family farm north of Wilber, NE, to James and Mildred (Pomajzl) Burianek. She married Dallas Vern Hagemeier February 22, 1991 at Christ Community Church in Beatrice, NE. Dorothy worked for Farmland Foods near Crete, NE for 30 years.  After retirement she enjoyed crafting, painting, spending time in her garden, flowers, and time with Dallas.

Survivors include her husband Dallas of rural DeWitt; daughter, Sheri McCombs and husband Jim of Wilber; step-children, Michele Vana and husband Randy of Wilber, Denice Castoral and husband Cliff of Crestview, FL, and Teresa Hagemeier and husband Luis of Philadelphia, PA; step-daughter-in-law Jen Hagemeier of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Cerena Hoover and husband Chan, Rachell Janecek and husband Adam, Clifford Allen Castoral, Alyssa, Mariah and Aliese Hagemeier, Jordan and Christopher Rowan, Dustin and Cody Vana; great-grandchildren, Deagen, Jocelyn and Charlee Hoover, Anakin Janecek; brother, Dennis Burianek and wife Pat of Wilber; sister, Darlene Novak and husband Lumir of Pleasant Dale, NE, Donna Hillgren and husband Duane of Crete; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents; and step-son, Daren Hagemeier; brother, Don Burianek; sister, Diane Rosenthal; sister-in-law, Dianna Burianek; infant twin brother and sister.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Christ Community Church, Beatrice with Jack Magness officiating. No visitation. A guestbook is available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com. A memorial is established to Christ Community Church or Samaritan’s Purse with the mortuary in charge.
