Daniele L. (Rogge) Melendez

Daniele L. (Rogge) Melendez, 61 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation in Beatrice. She was born on August 22, 1953 in Beatrice to Robert and Vaneda (Janssen) Rogge. Daniele graduated from Beatrice High School in 1971. She married Kevin Lampe and they later divorced. Daniele married Rene Melendez on April 5, 2008 in Beatrice. She was a loving caregiver in the healthcare field working at several different places in many different capacities. Daniele was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Beatrice where she was active in church ministries. She had a great love for serving the Lord. She enjoyed softball, bowling, reading, her grandchildren, and her cat “Cuddles”.

Daniele is survived by her husband, Rene; daughter, Kady Lampe of Lincoln; son, Dustin Lampe and wife Amber of Virginia; 4 grandchildren, Ayden Barber, Zoey Ely, Joshua Lampe, Addrianna Lampe; sister, Desiree Barrett and husband Garold of Beatrice; 3 brothers, Kim Rogge and wife Mari of Georgetown, Texas, Brian Rogge and wife Pon of Victorville, California, Kelly Rogge and wife Susan of Beatrice; several nieces and nephews; and all the caregivers at Beatrice Community Hospital and Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church in Beatrice with Pastor David Cramer officiating. Memorials are suggested to the First Assembly of God Church in Beatrice. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice is in charge of arrangements.
