Billey Ben Garrels

Billey Ben Garrels, 83 years of age, of Filley passed away surrounded by famliy Monday, May 8, 2017 at Beatrice Community Hospital. He was born on September 25, 1933 to Fred and Anna (Albers) Garrels.

Billey is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanne; 2 daughters, Kim (Dan) Dugan of Steinauer, Diane Timmerman and special friend Anthony Wester of Beatrice; son, Jeff (Wendy) Garrels of Wymore; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Amanda (Dustin) Fritch, Rylynn and Kailor of Beatrice, Kristin (Kellee) Remmenga, Aylee of Abilene, Kansas, Paxton Diehl and special friend Justin Garmen of Wymore, Jade Diehl of Norfolk, Sarah and Ethan Garrels of Wymore. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carolyn; and son, Jerry.

Per Billey’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to Mosaic in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
