Avery Dean Belding

Avery Dean Belding, 59, Beatrice formerly of rural Odell, died January 26, 2016 at Beatrice Health and Rehab. He was born January 15, 1957 in Steele City, NE, and grew up in the Jansen area before moving to Beatrice and attending Beatrice High School. Dean married Sharon Kresl November 20, 1982 at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln, NE.  At 15 he started a band with his brothers, before going on tour with Spike and the Sputniks band in 1977, in 1979 he played with his brothers Kevin and Colin in the Joker band this band opened for many big bands over the years. Dean also played in several other bands over the years. He worked for his brother Kevin at K & B Construction. Dean enjoyed his music, fishing, hunting, being outdoors, building buggies, his horses & dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Beatrice; sisters, Deb Baldridge & husband Art of Oklahoma, and Cindy Arnold & special friend John of Parker, Co; brothers, Doug Belding of Beatrice, Bruce Belding of Pawnee City, NE, Kevin Belding and wife Diana of Jansen, and Myron Belding & wife Joyce of Beatrice; uncle, Roy Barnts of Diller, NE; aunt, Janet Walburn of Fairbury, NE; mother-in-law, Barb J. Kresl of Weston, NE; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barb & Charlie Johnston of IL, Michelle Grief of Mitchellville, IA, Jodi & Ross Devik of Cedar Rapids, IA, Donald Kresl of Weston, NE; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by parents, Gerald D. & Gwendolyn (Fanders) Belding; brother, Colin Belding.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel in Beatrice.  No visitation the body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date in the Prairie Home Cemetery, rural Diller, NE.
